Meet Amin R. Yacoub, our featured attorney of the week.

Amin R. Yacoub is an Immigration Attorney with a background in litigation. Before joining Bogin, Munns, and Munns, Mr. Yacoub led his solo practice in immigration and litigation. As an EB2 Exceptional Ability/National Interest Waiver immigrant himself, he believes in giving his absolute best to serve his clients’ immigration needs in a speedy manner with high quality representation. Mr. Yacoub has successfully secured numerous immigrant and non-immigrant visas for his clients, with an approval rate close to 99% for EB2-NIW and EB1-Extraordinary Ability. 

 

Mr. Yacoub pursued his specialized Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law at New York University (NYU) School of Law – the leading law school in International Law in the nation. He obtained his three law degrees through merit-based full-ride scholarships. During his time at NYU, he was a graduate editor at NYU Journal of International Law and Politics (JILP) and a co-author to a world-renowned International Law Professor. He also volunteered with the New York Immigration Court and Open Society Foundation. 

 

Mr. Yacoub’s scholarship, currently comprised of 14 Academic publications, is published at top legal journals in the US and is cited by legal and non-legal scholars, including Oxford philosophers. He also enjoys reading in other disciplines, including Cosmology, Economics, Psychiatry, Philosophy, Theology, and History, among others. 

 

In his free time, Mr. Yacoub enjoys spending time with his wife and 15-month-old son. He also likes playing chess, swimming, listening to music, barbecuing, and eating ghost-pepper-level spicy food.
