Get in line immediately for these resources, for example, by contacting one’ bank or other U.S. Small Business Administration lenders.
It is now widely spread in the media that there have been ‘road bumps’ in administering the large-scale support programs, both at the federal and state levels. One need only look at today’s Florida Trend ‘Daily Pulse’ .
However, additional resources appear to be becoming available. As reported by the Greater Gainesville Chamber in its April 21, 2020 ‘COVID-19 Community Updates’:
ADDITIONAL BUSINESS AID IS ON THE WAY: The U.S. Senate has approved an additional $484 billion relief package. The bill includes $380 billion for small businesses, $75 billion for hospitals and $25 billion for COVID-19 testing.
Florida’s businesses are advised to stay attuned to this development as it quickly works its way through the legislative and then administrative processes. Do not delay.
