Biography
I was inspired to become an estate planning attorney by my parents, who did not have advanced educational opportunities themselves, but wanted that for my brother and I. I was initially going to be an accountant, and those studies have continued to serve me in my current legal practice areas.
I have eighteen years of experience in estate planning, estate administration, real estate and taxation, having practiced in South Florida from 2000-2018. Prior to private practice, I worked for four years for the United States Government: two years for Federal Judges and two years for the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. in the commercial litigation and international trade groups.
My greatest strength as an estate planning attorney is my greatest strength as a person in general, and that is the ability to listen. I like how practicing law allows me to help people. I enjoy taking what may be an otherwise confusing and overwhelming process and convert it into layman’s terms so my clients can understand what is happening and make informed decisions.
I have a furry four-legged kid, a schnauzer dog, who I enjoy exploring with. We go on outings and hikes together. I am also a runner and have more than half-way completed my quest to race in all fifty states.
