This series has recently described many financial and other resources related to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic and generally from a proactive risk management perspective. 1
Further in that regard, the Florida Chamber of Chamber of Commerce has developed the following series of safety training courses 2. (Please note that there are charges for those courses, although they are not especially expensive.)
The topic areas are:
- Respiratory Protection
- Hazard Communication
- Bloodborne/Airborne Pathogens
- Safety for Supervisors
- Emergency Preparedness
- Intro to Ergonomics
- OSHA 10hr General Industry
- OSHA 10hr Construction
It is, then, worthwhile considering these courses from a proactive risk management perspective.
Now for the corporate ‘tax tidbit’.
As reported by the Greater Gainesville Chamber 3:
The Florida Department of Revenue yesterday issued an emergency order extending filing deadlines for some Florida corporate income tax filings. The order applies to entities with fiscal years ending on one of the following dates: Dec. 31, Jan. 31, and Feb. 29. Those corporations now have until Aug. 3 to file their returns.
Please be sure to discuss this extension with ‘your’ tax attorney or accountant.
