Biography

What I love about being an attorney is that each day is different.  There is always something new to learn.  I have had the opportunity to work with many amazing clients over the years.  I was a junior high math teacher before I went to law school.  I became an attorney because I wanted the intellectual challenge and to help others.

I have over 23 years of commercial and residential real estate practice, specializing in acquisitions and dispositions of real property.  My experience includes advising and representing commercial and residential developers and builders, as well as condominium and homeowner’s associations.  I represent a national homebuilder and handle the closings of the homes on a statewide basis.  I also represent individuals in the purchase or sale of real estate, leasing, and contractual matters.

In addition to Real Estate, my areas of practice include Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Probate.  I routinely prepare both simple and complex wills and trusts.  I help families handle the legal, financial, physical and psychological challenges presented to seniors and their families.  In my practice of Business Law, I assist clients with entity formation and choice, the purchase and sale of businesses, contract review /preparation, non-compete agreements, etc.  If I hadn’t chosen to become an attorney, I would have become a real estate broker selling commercial property or high end residential.

I am passionate about my family, friends, horses, and French bulldog.  I enjoy riding dressage and all things horse-related in my free time.  My sister and niece are also horse crazy so apparently, it runs in the family!  I also enjoy reading and cooking in my downtime.

The ability to empathize with clients and provide top quality legal services with caring, friendly and personal service is my greatest strength as an attorney
