Meet Aboubakr Maaroufi our featured attorney of the week at Bogin, Munns & Munns.
A deep desire to help people of all backgrounds, nationalities and origins access justice and vindicate their rights is what inspired me to become an attorney. Being a good listener to my clients is my greatest strength. For me, listening carefully to my clients is crucial to achieving the best possible outcome for them.
Prior to joining BMM, I spent eight years defending one of the largest insurance companies in the United States in personal injury lawsuits brought against the company and its policyholders by injured plaintiffs across central Florida. I experienced first hand how selecting the right attorney can dramatically impact how insurance companies view and evaluate personal injury cases.
There are many very fulfilling aspects of my career. The most important one to me is the process of meeting new clients every day, helping them understand how I can help them achieve the most favorable outcome they deserve, and making new friends along the way. Each new client becomes a new friend for life. That human interaction is what I value the most about practicing law. Had I not pursued a legal career, I probably would have been a teacher. My wife is a teacher and I have tremendous respect and admiration for the teaching profession.
I was born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco. While I have called central Florida home for over 20 years, I still look for every chance to cross the Atlantic Ocean and visit my home country. Being a dual citizen broadens my horizon and gives me a multicultural perspective on things. I am also a huge and passionate soccer fan. When I am not working hard for my clients, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife Stephanie and my two girls, Sofia and Sarah.
